Yes. Lauren holds an active license to practice in Florida and provides telehealth care to patients throughout the state.

Do Florida patients need a referral?

What about snowbirds — can I see Lauren part of the year from Florida and part from elsewhere?
Lauren can see you in any state she's licensed in: Virginia, North Carolina, or Florida. As long as you're physically located in one of those states at the time of your appointment, you're covered.
What technology do I need for a telehealth visit?
Just a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone. Visits are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You'll receive a link before your appointment — no downloads required.
Is telehealth as effective as in-person care for hormone and wellness issues?
For the vast majority of what Lauren treats — hormones, PCOS, weight management, fertility counseling, and wellness — telehealth is just as effective. Lab orders, prescriptions, and care plans are all handled the same way.
Do you accept insurance for telehealth visits?
We are a direct-pay practice. We don't bill insurance, which allows Lauren to spend more time with you and design care based on your health — not coverage limits. FSA and HSA cards are accepted.
Can Lauren prescribe medications via telehealth?
Yes. Lauren can prescribe medications, including hormones and other treatments, via telehealth in all three states she is licensed in — Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida.
